What can replace a Conundrum?

2660938265_0b3913eb71

There is really no riddle here—Conundrum is just a darn fine bottle of wine.

Is it for a special night out or a lazy Sunday afternoon by the pool?

Should you serve it with Shrimp Scampi or Steak?     Yes.

That’s the Conundrum. It is a perfect blend of grapes making it a perfect white wine, any time. And every time.

Chill a bottle, pour a glass and relax. It’s good. I really love it.

My friend, the lovely Courtney, introduced this delightful Find, she has shared it on many occasions, so this post is for her!

A delightful bottle begins at $20.00

screeching halt to the symphony music…… OUCHIE – on the pocketbook.

My Delightful Find today is, how about a wine that tastes the exact same for less than HALF the price?

Enter stage right at the outstanding price of $5.99

The Kitchen Sink

Found at Total Wine in Tustin.  Click on the link for a map and more details. Courtney describes Total Wine as an Adult Toys-R-Us. She completely hits the nail on the head.

  1. Fabulous post – I had to laugh because I know YOU wouldn’t think twice about uncorking a $20 bottle just because you were thirsty! 😀

  3. Great post.
    Just great.
And just so you know? I would start with the $20 bottle then switch to the $5.99 when I can no longer tell the difference anyway.

    Just sayin.

And um, I pick my wines based on their cute names. So that means I will be buying both of these.

Now, we need to make a wine and call it BlogJuice.
Someone get on that will you?
    🙂

  4. Kathleen –
Thank you for the nice mention on your blog, I’m pleased you enjoyed both the wines. The Kitchen Sink line in particular, both red and white, have been hot sellers since they’re delicious and a real steal.

Please also thank your friend Courtney for the recommendation to visit us.
We look forward to seeing you both again soon!
    Cheers,

  6. STOP IT! A Conundrum replacement for 1/4 the price? I’m headed to Total Wine TOMORROW! Thanks so much! I had a Conundrum stand-in recommended by Phil at Pacific Ranch, but I have forgotten the name and it wasn’t any 5.99 either.
    Cheers!
