Ode to Summer

Hello Friends.

I’ve got bits of summer to share with you

it is in full swing

way into 90 degree these days

been doing hot weather things

drinking from glasses

over following with ice cubes.

Confessing to my friends

the waist has additional inches

why proud?

a delicious summer

 eating all sorts of delights

some pretty incredible food moments

outside after 5 o’clock is magical

buttery corn on the cob

tortilla chips accompanied by fresh guacamole

shrimp with well seasoned cocktail sauce

Grilled Steak – Chicken – Bratwurst

don’t forget the expensive cheese

homemade chocolate chip ice cream

prosecco and green salad

raspberry margaritas with my girls,
and
giggles abound

divine roasted pig and

a beach pit cookout

with offering from the sea.

There’s been celebrations

which are always special

evenings on the patio and mornings at the beach

of twinkly lights

and dancing like no one is watching

    Hi Kathleen,
I’m idea hunting for a fabulous dog collar for my friends new Labordoodle. I remembered one you posted a while back. Is it on here somewhere? Thanks for sharing the beauty…we are all enjoying!
