Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to introduce *UPDATED*

Daphney’s formal AKC (American Kennel Club) name. We just received her final paperwork this past week.

Why did we have to give her a fancy dancy name that you only hear during the Westminster Dog Competition or the movie Best in Show?

The answer is typically the name on the AKC registration papers goes something like this: it is the name of breeder then a name that either goes with the theme of the litter the breeder suggests or a name that simply sounds cool to you. The breeders name was Auburn Beagle, and there was no particular theme litter.

UPDATE: There was a litter name per Lynn: “… the litter did have a theme, it was Carly’s Angels as in Charlie’s Angels.”  You can see Carly’s  litter from last December HERE. Daphney was ‘Girl 3’.

But since we named her Daphney, we wanted to carry on the “D” theme as well as define what happiness/healing she has brought our family.

So,

Without further adieu, Sugar and Spice would like to introduce:

Auburn Delight By Design

Otherwise known as Daphney or Daff or Daffodil…….

For all the Beagle Breeder that follow Sugar and Spice, I’m still trying to get her weight and shoulder height per your requests. I have not forgotten.

I love her name the litter did have a theme, it was Carl’s Angels as in Charlie’s Angels, hince that is how her sister got her name Auburn Full Throttle (2nd in the movie series) and the call name of Alex Lucy Liu’s role.
