Wii Just Dance and Just Dance 2 – Show me those Dancy Dance Moves
Let’s talk about Just Dance Wii Game today.
I confess, I thought it would be another one of those games where characters dance on screen and all you do is wave your remote to match the visual cues or jump on a plastic pad. Furthermore it would be to out of date-ish tunes.
Next.
However, when my oldest popped Just Dance in the Wii I was pleasantly surprised. (Thanks Ms Allyson for the borrow) First, there are terrific songs from every era and family friendly. Heck there’s something in that music play list for everyone. Hit songs from the last four decades appealing to Baby boomers to Gen X’ers to Gen Y’ers are represented. I guess there is more to it about why it’s Rated of E for Everyone? Secondly, the game features real dance moves. Not only are you playing the game, you’re learning the actual choreography. And finally the game is simple. You choose a song then after a countdown there is a silhouetted character in dance appropriate attire doing the moves which you mirror. Check out the video below with ‘Fireworks’ from Katy Perry (or is that Katy Brand now) to see what the I’m talking about. But before the video here is the complete songs list of those songs spanning 40 years.
